Timothy Cole

He is here! Well my mom and dad left for Tokyo on Sunday and what luck, my water broke Monday morning. I wasnt sure what was happening so I called my sister-in-law and she thought it was probably just discharge. But after 7 hours of leaking I called the doctor and they told me to come in. She checked me, I was only 2cm and my water had broke. She admitted me and started me on pitocin. I was doing fine till 11pm when I was still at a 2cm and she stretched my cervix. Holy Cow did that not only hurt, but I was gushing water. After that the pain just got worst. At 2:30 I couldnt take it any more. I got an epideral and just loved it. I was at a 10 at 5:45 and pushed till 7:57. He weights 7 lbs and is 19 inches. He had some fuild in his lungs, so they got most of it out. He and I are both doing good. Just trying to rest. We are so glad he is here, just wish my mom and dad where here.

Is this an Optical Illusion?

Has the baby dropped or is it an optical illusion because of the shirt? If you notice its only one day after each other. I did yoga on the 27th. Does that matter? Crazy!

And we went jet skiing on Saturday. Yea I went really slow. Got lots of sun. So hopefully I can look tan for hospital pictures! LOL. And my sister Lindsey gets home on Aug 13th from her mission in Tokyo. I'm so excited!

10 Year Reunion

Well it was my 10 year high school reunion. Everyone looked the same. I wasnt the only one who was pregnant. There were 4 other girls who were, including Kathy Berrett. They had awards for the most kids and Kathy and Kylene won for having 5. Friday night was just a get together on the patio of Love and War in Texas. Then Saturday they had a family picnic that I didnt go to. Saturday night was a mexican buffet at a very nice hotel in Frisco. It was crazy. I probably wont go to my 20 year though.
I went for my 38 week check up today and I am 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. He is head down in a good position. The doctor is thinking he will not come over my due date. When we go to the hospital, I will have Elliott's laptop and try and post pictures and stuff.

Giardia lamblia

Well they finally found out what is wrong with me. After 4 weeks. I have Giardia Lamblia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giardia_lamblia
Its a parasite, from contaminated water or food. So I have to take this medicine for a week and it should be gone. Thank goodness. So hopefully I will gain my energy back in time to have this baby. I went to the doctor today and everything is going great. I am one centimeter dilated. She said that is normal. But its kinda scary.

July 4th

Well I am still the same as I have been for the past 3 weeks. I was in the hospital for a day and a half and finally got my lab results back today when I saw my doctor. They were negative for salmonella and e coli, which means no food poisoning. So I have an appointment with a gastroentrologist on Tuesday and we will see what they have to say. I am so sick of being sick that I hope they fix it before I have this baby.
I had a good birthday. My wonderful husband surprised me with dinner at Texas Roadhouse with my family and a cake. I got Max's donuts, (my favorite!), and he got me The Adventures of the Gummy Bears, a nice bag with slippers and pj's for the hospital. We went to my parents for the 4th and cooked out. My mom wanted me to put on the dress that she wore to the hospital with each of us kids when she was going into labor. She couldn't believe she wore it to church. She now thinks it looks like a night gown.
Then at night we went to Lake Lavon and bought a bunch of fireworks and everyone lite them. Of course Elliott just loved it. He loves fireworks. So it was a good birthday!

33 Weeks

I have been really sick for a week and a half now. The baby is fine, but I'm not. One day I'm ok and the next I cant keep food in my stomach and I have absolutely no energy. The doctor thought it was my gallbladder, but we did a sonogram and it was fine. I have tried everything; peppermint, licorice, ginger root, carrot juice, and pepto blismal. I go again to the doctor on Thursday, so maybe she can shed some more light on this.
For curiosity's sake I have 2 questions for those who read this. 1. To circumcise or not circumcise? We already have our mind set on what we want to do, but just wondering. and 2. To immunize our baby or not to immunize?
Congrats to Coren and the Clines' family. They had the baby Tuesday at 4:55. Robert Oscar Clines. I think he was like 8 lbs 12 oz or something like that. So we cant wait to see him, and hope Coren recovers quickly.
This past week Zach and Codi came down with Xander, so it was great to see them. He is growing to fast. We went to the farm with Chase and his girlfriend Amy and it was fun, well for them, I was trying to get better and was for a day. But Elliott put on a show for us and I am dying to put the picture up, but he will kill me if I do. But lets just say, he would be an ugly girl!!

Ready for Baby

I went to the doctor today and my blood sugars have been good. I dont have to test my blood anymore. I havent gained any weight in 2 weeks, so that is good. The baby's heartbeat is good and I am measuring normal. I am having to track how long the baby kicks/moves 10 times. Tonight he moved 10 times in 15 mins. So he moves a lot after I eat. We started Lamaze class tonight and it was very informative. Here is a picture of our bedding and our stroller. We are getting closer to being ready for him to come. Elliott has interviewed for the 3rd time with Hilton, and we are still waiting for them to interview another guy then they will call us. So keep him in your prayers. He really wants/needs this job.
