Hilarious Posts

Some of Zach's friends have such funny posts on their blogs, I just had to share because we laughed so hard.

This one is from the Franciscos:

Last night Ben and I went to the mall to look at stuff we can't afford. It was our date. I noticed that Clark was stinky when we had just arrived, and I had only brought my purse, not my diaper bag (like I ever remember to restock diapers anyway). So I decided to go to the bathroom, take off his diaper and just shake the goods down the toilet so he didn't have to sit in it at least. When I unstrapped the thing, I realized that it was too wet, mushy and smooshed-in to come out and just fall in the toilet. But I couldn't, in good conscience, strap it back on him!

So I came up with a plan that involved a lot of paper towels. While I was coming up with this plan, (which happened to coincide with trying to flush "the goods"), Clark peed on the floor. He also soaked his unsnapped onesie pretty good at the same time.

I took him to the counter to wipe him off with some wet paper towels (phase one of my plan) and I noticed that we were leaving puddles of non-clear liquid. I tried to wipe them up, but I certainly didn't sanitize the counter. (Please remember, this is in the J.C. Penney bathroom, and people are coming and going the whole time--I, on the other hand, am operating in some sort of timeless-bubble).

Then I got a wad of paper towels and headed back to the changing table (phase two). I had his makeshift diaper on and his wet onesie snapped over it when a nice girl approached us and asked "Do you need a diaper?" I must have looked relieved and embarrassed because she hurried out and grabbed me not only a diaper, but a pack of wipes. Bless her.

Clark thought the whole thing was a terrific game. Who doesn't like to be naked in public?

ok so funny right. So i got this email from my mom and i thought it was so hilarious. i mean really it is chris farleys little girl all the way. Why is her face just so perfect. I can't help from laughing every time i look at her.

And last weekend we went up to see Zach graduate and it snowed so we took a picture of Cole in his first snow. Congrats Zach! While we were up in OKC Lindsey was driving home from Orem and at 1:30am she hit some ice on the road and hit the guard rail then spun around twice and hit the other side of the road on it's guard rail. Luckily she is ok, a little sore, but we had to go pick her up from OKC to Santa Rosa, NM. So we drove straight like 20 hours. Cole did great. We had to leave the truck there since it wasn't drivable and my family is picking it up on their way back from skiing in NM.

Christmas

Santa was at the ward party, we had to take a picture with him. Cole is so stressed with the holidays he has hit the bottle already. Sunday we had to take a Christmas picture since we were all dressed nice. Cole is wearing the first outfit we bought for him when we found out he was a boy.

Sealing

We got our pictures back from our sealing. We got sealed on November 10. It was so amazing. I felt the spirit so strong there. And when they brought Cole to us I just started crying even more. I felt our other children looking down on us with joy. I'm so thankful for the power of sealing that brings our famlies together, so we can be together forever.

Coley Guacamole

Cole wanted to go to work with Elliott so he hid in his bag.
Us at the farm, just relaxing.

As we were preparing Thanksgiving lunch he chilled in his jumper.
Cole first rolled over 2 weeks ago. So exciting!

He loves standing up, so I put him up against the coach.

Halloween

For Halloween Elliott got off work early so we went to the pumpkin patch that Becca went to. We took so many cute pictures, but this was Cole's best one.
Of course Elliott had to put him in jail, and he was not happy. We had a lot of fun, especially since it was free and we bought 2 huge pumpkins that hopefully we will carve soon.

Ward Halloween Party

We were so late to the Ward party, but it was really fun dressing up. Thanks to Lindsey I was a geisha, Elliott and Cole were Sumo Wrestlers. It was a nice night and we handed out popcorn for the trunk or treat. Cant wait till he is old enough to go trick-or-treating.

I was over at Becca's house getting my hair done, and she had her bumbo out so I thought I would try Cole in it and he loved it. So we are using ours now.

2 months

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to update this. So I will just make points about whats been going on:
1. We moved in with my parents b/c we lost our condo to my uncle so it worked out so we can save money.
2. Cole is now 10 weeks old on Tuesday and weights 11 lbs 8 oz and is 22 1/2 inches
3. I take tons of pictures of him because he is so cute, no matter what he is doing
4. We have had a couple of accidents. One in the picture and, he pooped all over me Sunday night, just dripped out of the side of his diaper, which brings me to a question...What is the best way to get it out of clothes? CodiLynn said Ivory soap which works great. Any other ideas too, or any diaper suggestions to get. I am going to try a cloth diaper because Coren said with her son Oscar poop doesnt comes out of the diaper. Any comments?
5. He took his first camping trip and did AMAZING! He slept 6 hours straight underneath the stars in his Mose's basket.
6. He went to his first football game, Allen vs. Wylie, last Friday. Allen won. He did good except he was so tired and it was hard for him to sleep. And Zach, mom said Xander is liking Twizzlers. She told us on Saturday and Cole was holding Twizzlers at the game so we had to take a picture.
7. He went swimming for the first time and I think it was too cold for him b/c he cried a lot of the time, until I was bouncing him up and down and held him outward so he could see everyone.

And Cole is always having his fist up by his face, its so cute!
I need help on how to organize the pictures and write underneath them!

One month old

Well he is one month old now and we went to the doctor yesterday and he weights 10 lbs and is 21 1/2 inches. I cant believe how fast he is already growing. Makes me kind of sad. Doctor says he is perfect. He grunts a lot and I asked her about that and she said its his way of talking. So he will be a talker. It was such a nice day today we went for a picnic. He loves the sun.

Blessing Day

All of our family was at the blessing. During the prayer of course he farted and everyone in the circle heard it. Elliott had to pause to gather his composer. It was a sweet prayer. Elliott got the feeling that Cole would be a great missionary. After, everyone came to my parents house for lunch, then we went out to Elliott's parent's farm. So this was his first trip and he did really good. I cant believe he is going to be one month on Friday. We take him for his month check up on Monday. I cant wait to see how much weight he has gained.

His onesie is so true! He tests me all the time and I always fall for it and have to hold him because he is just so darn cute! And he does sit and sleep in his vibrating chair all the time. He is getting blessed on Sunday so I hope we can find an outfit for him to wear.

Bath time

Cole's cord fell off on Tuesday, so that was exactly 2 weeks. So I gave him a bath tonight. As first he liked it. Then I think he got a little cold and started crying. He is so cute when he cries. He is such a good baby

Tons of Pictures!

Well a lot has happened since we had Cole. I am taking tons of pictures of him, he is just so cute, I cant get over it. Guess every mother thinks their children are beautiful. Zach and Codi came to visit for Cole and Lindsey getting home. So we spent a lot of time at my parents. I am recovering very nicely. I'm ready to go workout and loose this baby weight so I can fit in my wedding dress on November 10th. Elliott finally got a job and started yesterday. He has been on vacation since the 6th. He will work for the Carlson who owns T.G.I. Friday's and other restaurants and will help fix their computer problems from his office. He is so excited! Lindsey brought us back Kamonos and Tokyo fans. I love the picture of Cole praying with his feet.
