We survived Las Vegas, but barely. So here are some pictures. Me, before getting on the plane, stretching. Elliott loved this picture because my belly is just hangin over. When we got to Vegas we got to our hotel, Harrah's and rested for a little bit, then started walking down the strip and went to all the hotels. This first picture was in front of the Venetian. We took tons of pictures here because of all the need paintings on ceilings and such. It was a pretty nice day, sunny and warm. Elliott was dying to get an In-and-Out Burger so we took a taxi and got one. This was my first In-and-Out Burger experience and it was so good. We didn't even take a picture. It was so crowded there. We meet someone from Allen, so that was cool. Turns out their son was in the Escadrille with me.
We finished walking and went back to our hotel to get ready for the Celine Dion concert. It was amazing. I have been waiting my whole life to see her. When she came out I started to cry. I didn't think I was that kind of fan to cry when they saw their favorite artist. Kind of embarrassing. But I couldn't stop crying. She was so good, even Elliott liked her. After we went back to our hotel and changed and got our camera to see the night life. We had to see the water show in front of the Beligio. Saturday morning we took a taxi to Mandalay Bay and had the buffet breakfast. Then walked the rest of the strip.
We went to Excalabur and played some black jack. Elliott won about $60 then we went to MGM and swam in the lazy river. We had walked so much I was exhausted and not feeling good so luckily it was about time to take the shuttle back to the airport. It was a great babymoon.
I went to the doctor today and everything is looking normal. It is now time to go every two weeks now. So that is exciting.

This weekend we went to visit Elliott's parents and they got a lot of work done on their barn upstairs. So these are the pictures. They look so nice. I have been on my 2000 calorie diet this past week and it has been pretty hard. But most days I only ate like 1500. I am not sure sure what normal is, but I have been anywhere from 67 to 111. Which is really low compared to my 188 at the doctor the other week. So I am faxing in my results on Tuesday and then I see the doctor next Wednesday. Elliott's birthday is on the 24th and I have no idea what to do or get him. But then on Friday we are going to Vegas for our birthdays to see Celion Dion. We are so excited.

My mom and dad bought us our crib and Elliott put it together Monday night. Only took him 45 mins. It matches our bed exactly. We are so excited. Now we are just ready for the bedding.
I got my blood drawn 4 times on Monday, once every hour. The first hour was rough since I didn't have anything in my stomach and I drank a big thing of orange sugar, it made me a little nauseous. But I did pretty good. I got my results Friday and they said my first test was normal but everything else was abnormal. Second test should be below 180 and mine was 188. Third test should be below 155 and mine was 168. So they are going to put me on a 2000 calorie a day diet. I have to cut back on sugars and carbs again. I have to prick my finger and test my blood 4 times a day for a week. Then fax them my results and if it is still high then they will put me on insulin. So this is pretty crappy. I lost weight over the weekend, so I might lose even more. The nurse said that if I do lose weight then they will increase my calories. So kinda crazy.

We went to the doctor yesterday and got the glucose test. The drink wasn't as bad as everyone says it is. Just tasted like sugary fruit punch. The test was not good. It should be under 139 and mine is 155. So for the weekend I have to cut out sugar and carbs. Then Sunday night I have to fast from 10 o'clock pm till Monday afternoon. Monday at 8:30 I go in and they draw my blood 4 times, once every hour. So I don't know what to eat now and I am going to go crazy since I have to have dessert like after every meal, even breakfast. But, everything else was normal. I have gained 4 lbs. since the last appointment. The baby is growing well, good strong 140 heartbeat. And we went over our birth plan and I am excited that the doctor was ok with everything, even going natural and no episiotomy.
